Abstrak

MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Congresses, and Events) merupakan salah satu katalisator penting dalam mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi. Pada tahun 2021-2022, Indonesia menjadi tuan rumah penyelenggaraan salah satu MICE terbesar, yaitu Presidensi G20. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari penyelenggaraan Presidensi G20 di Indonesia, termasuk faktor-faktor seperti jumlah wisatawan domestik dan mancanegara, Tingkat Pengangguran Terbuka (TPT), Rata-Rata Pengeluaran per Kapita Sebulan untuk konsumsi (RPK), serta pajak daerah yang mencakup pajak restoran, hotel, dan hiburan terhadap Produk Domestik Regional Bruto (PDRB) lima provinsi yang menjadi tuan rumah Presidensi G20. Penelitian ini mengadopsi analisis data panel menggunakan regresi linear berganda dengan data sekunder yang bersumber dari Badan Pusat Statistik dan Direktorat Jenderal Perimbangan Keuangan, periode 2010 hingga 2022. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh signifikan dari penyelenggaraan Presidensi G20, jumlah wisatawan, TPT, dan pajak daerah terhadap PDRB di kelima provinsi ini. Sebaliknya, Rata-Rata Pengeluaran per Kapita Sebulan untuk konsumsi (RPK) tidak terbukti memberikan dampak signifikan pada PDRB di wilayah-wilayah tersebut. Hasil ini memberikan implikasi praktis dalam bentuk rekomendasi untuk pengembangan sektor MICE, peningkatan infrastruktur, dan pendekatan pariwisata yang terintegrasi. Temuan penelitian ini berpotensi menawarkan wawasan penting bagi pemerintah sebagai pengambil kebijakan serta para stakeholder industri dalam mengoptimalkan penyelenggaraan MICE demi mendorong peningkatan ekonomi regional.
