Abstract

This study is motivated by the need to evaluate the packaging system of PT Decal Indonesia’s sticker products to support more efficient long-distance distribution. The research aims to optimize the downloading stage in Theory U using the Turtle Diagram to map the existing packaging and distribution system and identify underlying problems. The study employs a qualitative case-study approach with data collected through direct observation, internal document analysis, and literature review. Data analysis was conducted using the Turtle Diagram to map key process elements, including input, resources, methods, actors, results, process, and output. The findings reveal several issues, including dependency on impraboard packaging with a returnable box concept that is less suitable for long-distance delivery, dynamic customer order changes affecting packaging preparation, and indications of product damage during shipping. These findings provide an initial analytical foundation for developing more effective and efficient packaging design solutions.
