Archive Policy

JUSTINFO (Jurnal Sistem Informasi dan Teknologi Informasi) is dedicated to the long-term preservation of its digital content and ensuring continuous access to published scholarly work. To achieve this, we implement the following archiving and digital preservation policies:

1. Digital Preservation

To guarantee that all published articles remain permanently accessible, JUSTINFO utilizes the following digital archiving systems:

  • PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN): This journal utilizes the Public Knowledge Project Private Network (PKP PN) to digitally preserve OJS journals. The PKP PN ensures that journals can be preserved for long-term access even if the journal experiences systemic failure or is discontinued.

  • LOCKSS & CLOCKSS: This journal utilizes the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS) systems to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries. These systems allow libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.

  • National Repositories: All published issues are also regularly archived and indexed in national databases, such as Garuda (Garba Rujukan Digital) managed by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia.

2. Author Self-Archiving Policy

JUSTINFO supports the open-access dissemination of research. Authors are permitted and encouraged to archive their work online. The policy applies as follows:

  • Submitted Version (Pre-print): Authors may share their original manuscript (pre-print) anywhere at any time.

  • Accepted Version (Post-print): Authors may deposit the accepted, peer-reviewed version of their manuscript in their institutional repository or personal website.

  • Published Version (Publisher's PDF): Authors are strongly encouraged to upload the final published PDF version to institutional repositories, personal websites, or academic networks (e.g., ResearchGate, Academia.edu) immediately after publication, provided that they include a citation and a link to the original published article on the JUSTINFO website (using the article's DOI).
