Peer Review Process

Jurnal Visual Ideas implements a double-blind peer review system: the identities of reviewers are concealed from the authors, and vice versa. Each submitted manuscript will be reviewed by three experts, consisting of one chief editor and two independent reviewers.

REVIEWERS' RESPONSIBILITIES

As a reviewer, you are responsible for assessing the originality, significance, and clarity of the submitted manuscript. Reviewers are encouraged to refer to the Author Guidelines and Editorial Policies to ensure alignment with the journal’s standards prior to evaluating submissions.

Although the review process is confidential, reviewers are expected to provide objective, constructive, and unbiased evaluations. Reviewers must declare no conflict of interest related to the research, the authors, or the funding sources. They should also identify any relevant works that have not been cited by the authors.

EDITORIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Editors hold full authority over the acceptance or rejection of manuscripts. They must ensure that editorial decisions are based solely on the academic merit of the work, free from any conflict of interest. Editors are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the peer review process, preserving reviewer anonymity, and ensuring the integrity of the published record. In cases where significant errors or ethical issues are discovered, editors must promote the publication of corrections or retractions as appropriate.
