RETRACTION
The papers published in JBLI: Journal of Culture and Linguistics will be considered for retraction in the publication if:
- They have clear evidence that the findings are unreliable, either due to misconduct (e.g., data fabrication) or honest error (e.g., miscalculation or experimental error).
- The findings have previously been published elsewhere without proper cross-referencing, permission, or justification (i.e., cases of redundant publication).
- It constitutes plagiarism.
- It reports unethical research.
The mechanism for retraction follows the Retraction Guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), available at https://publicationethics.org/files/retraction%20guidelines.pdf.
WITHDRAWN
The author is not allowed to withdraw submitted manuscripts because doing so would be a waste of valuable resources that editors and referees have invested a great deal of time in processing, as well as the publisher’s investment. However, it is unethical to withdraw a submitted manuscript from one journal if accepted by another journal.
If the author requests withdrawal of their manuscript while it is still in peer review, the author will be required to pay a penalty per manuscript to the publisher. However, it is unethical to withdraw a submitted manuscript from one journal if accepted by another journal.
