Guidelines for Author

Online Manuscript Submission

Manuscripts to JITTER are submitted online through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) on the journal's official website. Authors must have an account to upload and track the status of their manuscripts.

Submission Procedure:

- Account Registration: Authors must first register as authors on the website.

- Writing Guidelines: Complete writing guidelines can be viewed at the special link provided.

- Upload Process: After registering, authors can follow the submission steps listed on the online system.

Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.

 

Author Guidelines, (Writing Rules and Manuscript Criteria) 

Submitted articles must be in document file format (.doc or .docx) and follow scientific writing ethics, including proper citation. All articles published in JITTER are open access. 

Accepted Manuscript Criteria:

Originality: Submitted manuscripts must be original works and have not been previously published. All manuscripts must be accompanied by a statement that the text has not been published in other media.

Manuscript Categories: Authors must specify the manuscript category upon submission, which includes:

1. Technical Paper (full article)

2. Technical Notes (short articles)

3. Discussion (discussion articles based on previous publications)

4. State of the Art Report (current reports in a specific field)

Language: Manuscripts must be written in proper and correct language, in Indonesian or English.

Content: Manuscripts must not contain political, commercial, overly subjective, or overly praising or disparaging elements.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

- Article Structure and Format:

  1. Title: Title of the manuscript.u

  2. Authors: Name of the main author and co-authors (without titles).

  3. Affiliation: Name of the institution where the author works, along with their email address.

  4. Abstract: The abstract is written in Indonesian and English, with a length of no more than 200 words.

  5. Introduction: The opening section of the article.

  6. Main Content: The core content of the article.

  7. Conclusion: Summary and conclusion of the research.

  8. References: References are arranged alphabetically by author's last name, followed by year of publication, title, and so on. Citations in the text do not use numbers, but instead mention the author's last name and year of publication.

  9. Document Size and Format: The manuscript is written on A4-sized paper using Microsoft Word and a word processor (including images, photos, tables, and flowcharts in the original file).

  10. Symbols and Units: The symbols and terminology used must be common in the relevant field of expertise. The units used are International System of Units (SI).

This license allows anyone to compose, improve, and make derivative works, for all publications in this journal, as long as they attach credit to the author of the original article. Every manuscript received by the editor will be reviewed by at least two experts in the same field before publication.

The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party. 

Declaration of Consent: The author agrees to transfer copyright to the journal editor if and when the manuscript is accepted for publication.

Content Responsibility: JITTER is not responsible for the opinions and content contained in published articles. Full responsibility for the content lies with the author.
