This process involves trained counselors who utilize specialized techniques to provide guidance, support, and advice, facilitating better coping mechanisms and overall well-being. Given the critical role of counseling in fostering mental health and personal development, it is essential to continually improve and enhance counseling services for students. By doing so, counselors can ensure they are providing the most effective and comprehensive support possible. At present, SMA ABC relies on traditional methods such as Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel to record and store data related to counseling and guidance. While functional, these tools are not optimized for the dynamic and multifaceted nature of counseling work. This traditional approach can be time-consuming and prone to errors, hindering the efficiency and effectiveness of the counseling services provided to students. To address these challenges, a web-based management information system is needed. Such a system would streamline the process of recording, storing, and retrieving information, enabling counselors to complete their tasks more quickly, accurately, and on time. A well-designed web-based system would also facilitate better data analysis and reporting. The development of this system will use the waterfall method, a systematic and sequential approach to software development. This method ensures that all data and information related to the counseling procedures and the system's technical implementation are thoroughly processed and accurately integrated, resulting in a reliable and efficient management tool.
Diah Ayu, Yahfizham Yahfizham Copyright (c) 2024 JUSTINFO | Jurnal Sistem Informasi dan Teknologi Informasi https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://journal.widyatama.ac.id/index.php/justinfo/article/view/1995 Thu, 20 Jun 2024 00:00:00 +0700 Identification of Skin Color Images in Humans Using Principal Component Analysis Method https://journal.widyatama.ac.id/index.php/justinfo/article/view/1942
Skin detection is an important process for classifying human skin color. Some phone cameras produce images in RGB (Red, Green, Blue) format. Various cases of skin detection often perform a transformation from the RGB color space to another color space, such as YCbCr or HSV, to improve detection accuracy. In this journal, we conduct research on skin detection using Teachable Machine, a platform that utilizes machine learning to teach computers to recognize visual patterns. The term "accuracy per epoch" refers to how well the model is at telling which pixels in an image are skin color during each training iteration (epoch) when skin color identification using the Principal Component Analysis (PCA) method on a teachable machine is being done. PCA helps reduce the dimensionality of data, enabling more efficient analysis and increased model accuracy. Teachable Machine makes this process simple by providing a user-friendly interface for training models without requiring in-depth knowledge of code or algorithms. Measuring accuracy per epoch is crucial in the training process because it shows the development of the model's ability to detect human skin over time. We expect the model to improve its accuracy in identifying skin-color pixels with each epoch, thereby enhancing the overall performance of the skin detection system. This research shows the great potential of the teachable machine in skin detection applications, providing a more efficient and accurate solution than traditional methods.

Aurelia Fermina Kambri, Mardiani Bana, Yampi R.
