Data visualization serves as an effective solution to transform complex data into easily understandable information, thereby accelerating business processes and improving decision-making. The Institute for Policy Development (Poldev) at UGM developed UniTrend, a website that provides real-time public sector data to address the limitations of data access from the government. However, UniTrend's data presentation has yet to consider user-friendliness in reading graphs. This final project aims to address this issue by improving the quality of data visualization in terms of effectiveness and user experience. The resulting design is based on the principles of data-ink ratio and Gestalt principles. A total of nine visualizations from three different designs were tested through low-level tasks and the meCUE questionnaire. The test results showed that data-ink ratio design excelled in three aspects: usefulness by 75%, usability by 67%, overall evaluation by 63%, accuracy by 63%, and preference by 56%. Based on these results, data-ink ratio design demonstrated better overall performance compared to Gestalt principles design. Overall, the application of data-ink ratio and Gestalt principles successfully improved the effectiveness and user satisfaction in accessing information on UniTrend's website data visualizations
Isnanda Agafrilla, Margareta Hardiyanti Copyright (c) 2024 Isnanda Agafrilla, Margareta Hardiyanti http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://journal.widyatama.ac.id/index.php/jitter/article/view/2369 Mon, 16 Dec 2024 00:00:00 +0700 ANALYSIS OF THE SLOPE STABILITY OF THE I TUJUH BUKIT DAM TUMPANG PITU BANYUWANGI https://journal.widyatama.ac.id/index.php/jitter/article/view/2353
The operational success of a dam is significantly influenced by slope stability and seepage safety. This study aims to evaluate the slope stability and seepage safety of the Tujuh Bukit 1 Dam, which has been in operation for five years. The research methodology involves the collection of both primary and secondary data, followed by the development of analysis models. The slope stability analysis was conducted under three conditions: static, Operated Based Earthquake (OBE), and Maximum Design Earthquake (MDE). Additionally, a seepage analysis model was developed to assess safety against uplift pressure and piping erosion. The results indicate that slope stability under static, OBE, and MDE conditions meets the required safety criteria. The factors of safety calculated for each scenario demonstrate that the dam slopes are stable and capable of withstanding the specified loads. Similarly, the seepage analysis results show that the Tujuh Bukit 1 Dam is safe against both uplift and piping erosion, with no significant risk of internal erosion or material loss that could compromise the structure. Based on these analysis results, no additional design modifications or reinforcements are required for the Tujuh Bukit 1 Dam. The current design and construction are adequate to ensure the dam's safety and stability under the evaluated conditions. These findings provide confidence in the dam's operational reliability and valuable insights for future monitoring and maintenance strategies. This study underscores the importance of regular safety evaluations for dams and highlights the effectiveness of detailed analytical models in assessing stability and seepage concerns

Keywords: Slope Stability, Seepage Safety, Tujuh Bukit 1 Dam
Widde Valensia, Yanyan Agustian Copyright (c) 2024 Widde Valensia, Yanyan Agustian http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://journal.widyatama.ac.id/index.php/jitter/article/view/2353 Mon, 16 Dec 2024 00:00:00 +0700 THE INFLUENCE OF MENTAL WORKLOAD ON THE PERFORMANCE OF WAITERS AT KAFE MANDJA PROGO BANDUNG USING THE NASA-TLX METHOD https://journal.widyatama.ac.id/index.php/jitter/article/view/2125
The aim of this study is to measure and analyze the mental workload experienced by waiters at Kafe Mandja Progo Bandung, using the NASA-TLX method. The café and restaurant industry in Bandung is experiencing rapid growth, and Kafe Mandja on Jalan Progo has become a favorite destination for locals and tourists alike. However, behind this popularity, waiters face significant challenges of high mental workload, which can affect their performance and productivity. The NASA-TLX method, which measures six main dimensions (Mental Demand, Physical Demand, Temporal Demand, Own Performance, Frustration Level, and Effort), is employed to evaluate the mental workload. The research findings indicate that the average Workload Level (WWL) of waiters at Kafe Mandja Progo exceeds the threshold of 80, indicating a high mental workload. Therefore, action is needed to reduce this workload through task redistribution, hiring new staff, and routine monitoring of mental and physical well-being. Implementation of these strategies is expected to enhance work efficiency, reduce fatigue, and improve service quality at Kafe Mandja. This study provides valuable insights for management to design policies that support employee well-being and performance, and contributes to a deeper understanding of workload management in the culinary industry.

Keywords :

Mental workload, NASA-TLX, Waiters, Waiters performance
Fadly Rizky Dermawan, Dony Sastra Danuatmaja Copyright (c) 2024 Fadly Rizky Dermawan, Dony Sastra Danuatmaja http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://journal.widyatama.ac.id/index.php/jitter/article/view/2125 Mon, 16 Dec 2024 00:00:00 +0700 DESIGN OF WEB-BASED CLOUD DRIVE APPLICATION AS ONLINE STORAGE MEDIA USING VIRTUAL PRIVATE SERVER https://journal.widyatama.ac.id/index.php/jitter/article/view/2389
The technology that is developing today is information technology. The potential for project failure will be even greater without time management. Nowadays, there are many construction projects that have poor performance in terms of time management which causes delays in work. In this final project research, one of the projects managed by PT Prima Graha Bangun Tunggal is the Buin Batu School Swimming Pool Pipe and Pump Machine Installation Project located at Batu Hijau Townsite, Sekongkang, Sumbawa Barat, Nusa Tenggara Barat, there was a delay due to a delay in the project due to structural work carried out by the main contractor has not been completed so that the sparring installation work for the pipes also experienced delays, delays in finishing work by the main contractor caused by materials arriving late at the project site, late validation or approval of material specifications from the contractor, and late material delivery due to payments that have not been made by the owner to the contractor. This study aims to accelerate time using the Critical Path Method (CPM) and Project Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT) methods in the Buin Batu School Swimming Pool Pipe and Pump Machine Installation Project. Data analysis using CPM and PERT methods is to analyze which activities are included in the critical path in order to obtain the optimal duration for the method. From the results of research using the CPM method, 11 activities were obtained in the critical path with a total duration of 114 days where this duration is 95 days faster than the duration of the plans due to the delay in the project. Meanwhile, using the PERT method, 11 activities on the critical path were obtained with a total duration of 123 days which had a difference of 86 days faster than the duration of the plans due to the delay in the project. The probability that the project can be completed in a duration of 123 days is 99.94%. From these results, it can be seen that the CPM scheduling method has the most optimal duration compared to the PERT method.
Intan Melenia Leimena, Fahmi Copyright (c) 2024 Intan Melenia Leimena, Fahmi http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://journal.widyatama.ac.id/index.php/jitter/article/view/2419 Mon, 16 Dec 2024 00:00:00 +0700 Cover dan Daftar Isi https://journal.widyatama.ac.id/index.php/jitter/article/view/2444
Cover dan Daftar Isi
Raden Herdian Bayu Ash Siddiq Copyright (c) 2024 http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://journal.widyatama.ac.id/index.php/jitter/article/view/2444 Mon, 16 Dec 2024 00:00:00 +0700
