The development of the industrial world is increasing rapidly over time. The problem of increasing productivity cannot be separated from the human factor that can be observed, researched, analyzed and corrected. This research discusses the application of the 5s method in the logistics unit of PT XYZ. Through this method, the work area will be more controlled and organized and facilitate the process of solving problems and analyzing processing results through good research management. With the aim of providing improvements and increasing the productivity of aspects of the work environment in order to create a conducive, safe and comfortable workplace at each work station. Based on the results of research that has been carried out on the logistics unit at PT XYZ, it can be concluded that the unit has applied the 5s method in the company area. There are some internal and external constraints. Like Seiri, the separation of goods distinguishes between necessary and unnecessary items. Seiton where the grouping of goods, puts an identification mark on the goods. Seiso is to clean the place or work environment, so that there is no dust or dirt and garbage scattered around. Seiketsu shows the neat state of the goods and maintains a good state through standards. Then the last Shitsuke discipline in the workplace is the development of positive habits in the workplace.
