Cipanas Garut is a tourist area that is famous for its natural hot springs. There was a massive exploitation of groundwater with drill wells in this area by hotels and housing. To reduce groundwater exploitation, a Drinking Water Supply System (SPAM) from surface water is required. The SPAM intake plan is located in two locations. The intake 1 location is the channel in front of Lake Dariza Resort Hotel, and the intake 2 location is the channel in front of Cahaya Villa Hotel. Spam service area coverage plan includes hotels and housing in Langensari and Panunjang Villages. Each intake requires 40.12 L/s of water (intake 1) and 90.12 L/s of water (intake 2). In terms of water quality, intake 1 is better than intake 2, but it still required water treatment to reduce BOD and TP levels. According to the water balance results, the availability of water intake 1 is still in excess or able to meet total water needs (in Q70%), whereas intake 2 cannot meet total water needs (in Q percent), water can only be met for 4 months, and there is a water deficit for the remaining 8 months
