Delays in raw material testing often pose a problem that hinders smooth production, especially at PT XYZ, a pharmaceutical company facing major challenges in raw material testing. This study aims to identify the causes of delays in testing sucrose raw materials and formulate solutions based on Lean Six Sigma. Using the DMAIC approach, this study measures process efficiency through Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Process Cycle Efficiency (PCE), and delay data analysis. The results indicate that layered review processes and manual systems are the primary causes of delays. Implementing improvements, such as digitizing forms and optimizing SOPs, successfully reduced delays from 39.62% in 2023 to 29.69% in 2024. This study makes a significant contribution to improving the efficiency of the QC laboratory at PT XYZ and can be adapted by other pharmaceutical industries.
