Abstract

PT Dankos Farma (A Kalbe Company) is a pharmaceutical manufacturing company with several divisions, one of which is the Quality Control division for Raw Materials and Packaging Materials. The current issue faced by PT Dankos Farma is the increasing number of incoming samples for Raw and Packaging Materials, which has led to excessive overtime in the Quality Control division. This situation has also resulted in decreased work productivity and affected the attendance rate of analysts, with some failing to report to work. This study aims to analyze the workload and provide recommendations for workforce improvement using the Work Load Analysis (WLA) and Work Force Analysis (WFA) methods. Based on the results of the Work Load Analysis, most analysts experience an excessive workload, with an average workload value of 115.6%. Therefore, an additional 2 personnel are needed, as indicated by the Work Force Analysis, bringing the total number of analysts to 11. With this adjustment, the workload becomes optimal, and the workload value received by each analyst decreases to 94.58%, indicating a normal workload level.
