This research to examine the trend change in student preferences for print services usly the Markov Chain. The study examines Industrial Engineering students at Universitas Widyatama and analyzes customer traffic among three prominent printing service providers located near the campus. Several influencing factors including location, product completeness, and service quality were taken into account. A quantitative method was utilized by distributing questionnaires, and the gathered data was analyzed with a transition probability matrix to forecast future customer behaviors and determine the market share from 2025 to 2034. The findings indicate that Laura Fotocopy & Computer continually holds the top preference among students, whereas Mentari Fotocopy faces a decrease. A stable state is reached in the eighth period, signaling consistent market shares. These results offer important information for printing service providers to improve their competitiveness and customer loyalty tactics.
