ANALISIS FUNGSI DAN MAKNA KANDOUSHI YANG MENYATAKAN OUTOU PADA ANIME OSHI NO KO (KAJIAN PRAGMATIK)

In Indonesian, kandoushi is an interjection which expresses feeling such as happy, surprised, sad, amazed, and so on. Besides, it can be used to express calling, responses, and greetings. This research discusses kandoushi which expresses responses (outou). Outou is kandoushi which functions to express agreement, understanding, refusals, doubts, and responses of calling. The purpose of this research is to describe the function and meaning of kandoushi which expresses outou. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative which is used to describe the function and meaning of kandoushi expressing outou. The data source used is anime entitled Oshi No Ko with 11 episodes in total. Theories underlying this research are taken from Horiguchi Sumiku and Sudjianto. The results of this research indicate that there are 17 types of kandoushi expressing outou, which cover 6 types expressing agreement, 3 types expressing understanding, 6 types expressing refusal, and 2 types expressing doubt. The function expressing responses of calling is not found.
